Fishing Report

Superb weeks fishing yet again. 42 anglers caught 191 fish of which 168 were safely released. Fish have spent much of the week on the top except on bright breezy sunny days but as soon as it clouded over, back they came to the surface. Restock on April 3rd really got the resident fish moving and most anglers enjoyed great sport. White lures, damsels, buzzers, blobs, dries and montanas all worked well. Trouthmasters fish off took place on Sunday and despite the awful weather - cold and rainy, we are pleased to congratulate Martin Smith for winning with 12 fish, Bill McIlroy came 2nd with 9 and Danny Drain came 3rd with 4. As always, a great atmosphere with everyone enjoying the event so thank you for coming.
