Fishing report

Fishery reopened on Wednesday the 13th.  62 anglers caught 245 fish which was fantastic.  Wednesday, Thursday and Friday saw a rod average of 5 and fishing was excellent.  Saturday and Sunday things calmed down a bit but still all but a few had decent results.  Dries off the top most of the time but also damsel nymphs, hares ear, blobs, dwail bachs and there is a good hatch of natural mayfly off the lake too. Fishing can be one of the safest sports if we continue to respect the rules of social distancing so thank you to all our customers both old and new - we are so happy to see activity on the lake again.
