Fishing Report

This week saw consistent numbers at the lake with good weather conditions for the time of year. There were only a couple of days that proved tough to catch although even on those days someone tended to work out what they were taking on. The bank is now consistently outfishing the boats and again, fish seem to be well distributed. A special mention for Dattie Barnard who had 22 rainbows on Saturday using apps bloodworms. He worked out that on this last 5 visits he has had 33, 21, 13, 10 and 22 giving him a rod average of 19 which is very impressive. Most of those numbers came from using Apps bloodworms which still had its moment this week along with yellow dancers and the ever consistent montana. Buzzers are also starting to work as well as a few dries. Picture is Dattie Barnard.
